What Is the Time Commitment for Incubating & Hatching Chicken Eggs?

Chicken Egg Incubation Time

It takes an average of 21 days from time of incubation for chicken eggs to hatch. The eggs go into “lockdown” (no more turning the eggs) on day 18 or 19. Other birds and breeds have different time frames.  You can read more about time periods, temperature & humidity settings, and overall incubation instructions HERE.
